The "British publishing house" starts next Saturday an extraordinary action: The publisher will give away books, and lots of it. A total of one million bestseller brought to the people. A specially convened jury has selected 25 books that are now being reprinted for a special issue. Included are copies of the authors John le Carre and Erich Maria Remarque.
The publisher held to a "World Book Night" at the 20,000 fans / visitors are distributed in the UK every 48 copies of their favorite book - which tells the WDR.
The action are again more people will do for reading. All the action starts on Friday with a public reading on Trafalgar Square (which is well known, used for major events, such as mass Karaoke). However
find independent bookstores this action not as good because they think that as the market would be flooded with free books.
